The category of camcorder is one broad category of the old and new, dynamic and basic offing in the world of digital photography. Even if the video results are not that thrilling as you would get with some camcorder models what you will love is that the model has an amazing 70x optical zoom with some stabilization. The Panasonic camcorder model has a CCD optical sensor type. You will get this camcorder model at a price range of $339.00 $501.63.

Where can I find good camera reviews?

My favorite place is dpreview. While they don't hit every model, the cameras they do review are covered in a thorough and objective manner, and they offer a clear statement of the strengths and weaknesses of each model.

You should keep in mind that the camera market changes rapidly, and that a camera that was "highly recommended" in 2007 may not be a super performer by today's standards.

Another good place for reviews is the Digital Camera Resource Site
On Imaging Resource see Dave's Picks...I love his recommendations.
Here are some of my Camera Recommemdations :
  1. Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP Digital SLR Camera
  2. Nikon D90 DX 12.3MP Digital SLR Camera
  3. Sony Cyber-shot DSCH50 9.1 MP Digital Camera

How to Pick the Perfect Digital Camera

Different from traditional cameras, a digital camera is a device which captures the image without the use of film. The information is stored as digital bytes and you can then transfer it on your computer and play with pictures the way you want. It still uses some of the principles of traditional photography though: the light is focused through a lens onto a proper receptive surface. Instead of film, a digital camera uses a system to digitally capture light rays.

High-quality cameras use a charge couple device to capture light, while lower-end models use a CMOS device. After the discovery of CMOS, prices for digital cameras have been declining, as these sensors are easier and less expensive to manufacture compared to charge couple devices (CCD). Both CCD and CMOS achieve the same effect but the techniques they use to do this are significantly different.

There are many different cameras available on the market today and you may feel overwhelmed about their high variety and the multitude of functions each of them has. Most functions you don't even know what are all about and you will probably never use them. This article is aimed to provide you with some advice on how to purchase a good camera. First of all, image quality should be the main factor, and the higher the resolution, the better the image. You may hear people raving about digital zooming and how much can you do with it. However, it is better to choose a camera

The Criteria To Look For In A Good Digital Camera Review

Potential buyers use a digital camera review because they want to be able to make an informed choice about their purchase. They are created by a team of people made up of experts and general users, and tested over a period of time to give an informed opinion. Therefore, any review of it should be thorough and clear, with the buyer`s best interests in mind.

For simplicity, the digital camera review is usually in a summarized table format, with stars or numbered ratings beside each make. The reason for this is that this format makes it very clear for the reader to understand. However, the criteria assessed are not always made clear and may leave the reader wondering what exactly the ratings for the product was based on and whether it is reliable.

A good digital camera review should have a wide reaching outlook and consider as many aspects as possible. It should have the requirements of a variety of buyer`s covered, considering the possible uses and realistic price ranges that may be required.

The good digital camera review should also offer insightful opinions in terms of features, portability, performance and cost. It should be easy to follow but also informative, with a balanced argument and also a more in depth description available for any interested buyer. It should compare one product to another, to provide the consumer with the best possible choice. The good digital camera review should also be honest; to make sure the consumer…
