Well, I hope everyone made it through the first phase of the holidays. Now if we can all make it to the New Year, we will be home free. Things are a little slower at the studio. By reading though all the comments from our DPT readers we were presented with a wealth of ideas and perspectives on the subject. Thanks to all who contributed to the post. We will have to do that again soon. I’ll fill you in on what I decide my shooting strategy will be as soon as I continue to fine tune my process.

Good Morning Everybody,
It’s true – finally today you get to see the next great video produced with the Canon 5D Mark II camera. And wait, there’s more – I’ve got a couple new images to toss in as well.

I hope everybody had a great weekend. LaDawn and I are all settled back in Cincy. We left Cabo at 85degrees only to arrive home to 25 degrees and snow. Hey, it's still home. We've got a pretty busy next few days as we move into the final couple weeks before our holiday deadlines. But, as promised, I’ve got a lot of good stuff for you today.

My friend, Kent Smith, picked up his 5D Mk II the day before we departed for Cabo. Needless to say, we had a blast playing with it down in sunny Mexico.

Good Morning Everybody,
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Things were fairly calm around here - busy, but calm - that is till about 12:30p.m. on Saturday when a buddy of mine called to say say his wife is having a baby, he's heading to the hospital, and could I cover a wedding for him across town starting about 2 p.m.! Hey, 90 minutes to get the batteries charged, line up an assistant, and scoot across town. But, heck, what are friends for!! Anyway, everything came together, I covered things till about 6 p.m. until another mutual photographer friend showed up to take over and cover the reception.

I called my buddy Sunday to see how the baby was doing and to my surprise, the baby had not arrived yet! You know, babies do that sometimes. Anyway, all worked out fine and we got some great images for him.
